Below are those organisations who provide safe spaces for our community, who are gender positive allies.
This means they provide inclusive and affirming spaces for individuals of all gender identities and expressions.
It also means that if you feel in danger you can go to them for safety and help.

Open Minds Counselling Services Ltd.
Free and subsidised one to one counselling for children aged 8 and over, and adults.
Actively trans-positive gender diverse therapy team. Open Minds will respect your identity and keep you safe. Children and adults can access one to one therapy and be confident that the counsellor will not out them to others in their lives.
IMP;ACT Team
A suicide prevention service working with people aged 18 and over who have made an attempt on their lives. The IMP;ACT Team give support to build coping skills and a social environment to help prevent future suicide attempts.
As a part of Open Minds, IMP;ACT are also an actively trans-positive gender diverse team. IMP;ACT will respect your identity and keep you safe. Adults can access one to one mentoring and coordination and be confident that the team will not out them to others in their lives.
Doncaster Mind
Doncaster Mind is a passionate and energetic organisation that works to promote recovery from mental ill-health, improved emotional well-being and independent living.
We offer children and adults a range of both face-to-face and online services from one-to-one support, groups, activities, guided learning, training and volunteering opportunities. Our small team really cares about making a difference to the people of Doncaster and we work hard to make a positive change for people’s mental health.
We have been supporting people in Doncaster and the surrounding area for 45 years.
Doncaster Mind takes a zero tolerance approach to discrimination and harassment of any kind and provides a safe place in Doncaster centre, whether you are accessing support for your mental health with us, or you just need be somewhere you feel safer. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health difficulty gets both the support and respect they need and deserve.
Out Youth
We provide training and advice to schools and agencies working with children and young people to build an inclusive environment for all and challenge discrimination in all forms.
Out Youth actively work to challenge LGBT discrimination and encourage other organisations to treat LGBT+ people with dignity and respect.
